1. 有一次在公視所製播的張愛玲傳奇中聽到一段對話頗有趣，愛玲唸書期間去探訪她的姑姑，姑姑問她，「不用上課嗎？」愛玲回答：不用，我放春假。姑姑卻說道：放什麼春假，難道你們也要發芽嗎？

6. One day my student during internship told me an interesting thing happening to her students in a kindergarten. One day a boy asked his teacher whether he could draw on the whiteboard during a break, his teacher approved. Then another boy was jealous, asking him,"Why can you draw on the board? I want to draw too." So the boy drawing said to him, " The teacher said I can draw ㄚ" What a lovely combination of Chinese and English!
7. Remember the contest of " the north wind and the sun?" One day I told Sophie the story. The north wind and the sun had a contest. They wanted to know who could blow a traveler's coat away first. The north wind went first. He blew so hard; however, the traveler grabbed his coat even more tightly. Then it was the sun' turn. When the sun gave forth his heat gradually, the traveler took off his coat because of the warmth given by the sun. Of course, the sun won. On my way home, I retold the story to my husband. He on the spot said he came up with another version of the story. He continued, " This time, the sun started the game. This time a beautiful woman, instead of a traveler, was the target. The sun once again emitted warmth little by little. Finally, the woman took off her coat, revealing her bikini going to the beach. The sun cheered. However, the north wind sniggered. He said, " not finished yet." Then he blew the strap of the woman's bikini off her shoulders. He cheered, " I AM THE WINNER."
8. 一次在電視上聽到李立群說道，很多人在被批評的時候，總會委屈的想著，為什麼別人要誤解我，但是為何別人在讚美我們的時候，我們就不覺得別人也有可能誤解了我們的好呢？
